ART & EXHIBITIONS

Artist standing behind her artwork featured on Inner West roadside buffer

My art is a reflection of my deep connection to Country and my ongoing journey as a Gumbaynggirr woman. Each piece tells a story, not only of my own experiences but of the wisdom and traditions of my ancestors, the land, and the animals that have always been a part of my world. Through my work, I strive to share these stories with others, offering a window into Aboriginal culture and inviting others to experience the beauty of this heritage.

Featured Works

I am proud of the many pieces I have created throughout my artistic journey. Below are some of my featured works that showcase the diverse range of mediums I explore—from large-scale murals to intimate pieces that tell personal stories.

Recent & Upcoming Events

My art continues to evolve, and I am constantly seeking new ways to share my culture with the wider community. Below are some of my most recent exhibitions:

  • Power Up Festival, White Bay Power Station (2024)
    • An immersive art experience celebrating Indigenous culture and contemporary artistic expression. The festival brings together artists from across Australia to showcase their work in a vibrant, creative setting.
  • ROKT Corporate NAIDOC Display (2024)
    • This upcoming exhibition celebrates NAIDOC Week and features a stunning corporate art installation at ROKT in Surry Hills. It will be a chance to celebrate Aboriginal culture within the corporate world and to reflect on the ongoing importance of reconciliation.
  • NAIDOC Week Exhibition at the NSW Parliament House (2023)
    • For this exhibition, I was honoured to have my works displayed in the iconic NSW Parliament House during NAIDOC Week. The exhibition aimed to foster greater understanding and respect for Aboriginal culture and history.
  • Georges River Council School Holiday Art Workshops (2024)
    • In addition to the exhibition, I’ll be running workshops for young people across Hurstville, Penshurst, and Kogarah. These workshops will provide children with an opportunity to learn about Aboriginal art and create their own pieces inspired by traditional techniques.
  • Urbis x Boomalli NAIDOC Exhibition (2022)
    • A partnership between Urbis and Boomalli to celebrate NAIDOC Week through the arts. This exhibition explored the intersection of Aboriginal art and modern design, creating a space where both could coexist and inform each other.

Corporate & Public Art Commissions

  • CBRE Mural (2021)
    • A large mural created for CBRE’s office in Sydney’s CBD, this work celebrates Aboriginal heritage through contemporary design. It brings together traditional patterns and motifs, using bright colours and striking visuals to create a piece that feels both modern and timeless.
  • Mirvac’s Live Art Installation (2021)
    • A live art session for Mirvac, where I created a large painting as part of an event celebrating Indigenous culture. This event was an opportunity to showcase Aboriginal art in a dynamic, interactive environment, encouraging guests to engage with the process of creation.
  • Queen Victoria Building Christmas Tree (2023)
    • Commissioned to create artwork for the QVB’s Christmas tree, I designed pieces that celebrated Indigenous culture and the beauty of the Australian landscape. This work brought Aboriginal art to the forefront of a festive tradition, allowing people from all walks of life to experience and learn about our culture.
  • Vincentian House Crisis Accommodation (2024)
    • In 2024, I was commissioned to create artwork for Vincentian House, a crisis accommodation service. This commission was particularly meaningful as it provided an opportunity to use art to uplift and support vulnerable individuals, creating a space that felt nurturing and empowering.
